I GOT IT! (Continuation of "I Won! I Won!"

Last night, I got a package from New Zealand...and I was so happy...I got the earrings from the contest that I entered on the Frugal Kiwi'sblog. Re-reading the article, I found out that I was wrong. I thought it was sterling silver, and that she was doing metal work....then I found out it was metal clay.

I have always wanted to do metal clay work, but don't have the money to invest in it...so am glad to have my first piece of metal clay jewelry! The pieces are exquisite, with lots of details.

Thank you, Ingrid, for creating such a wonderful piece of art, and thank you, Frugal Kiwi (Mel?) for making the offer. I have so much enjoyed your blog, even though I don't felt, garden, chase after chickens, or anything like that...I just truly enjoy it.

Today, not feeling well, but am thinking Monday, dressing up, pulling my hair back, and wearing those earrings....soooooooo pretty!

I found this wonderful project, on how to make hair clips and hair bands. One of the links included how to sign up for Kohl's emails, and you would recieve a $5 coupon, and then 10% off of future purchase. I signed up, now am waiting for the other...

Free Glasses: 3/25 at 12pm EST

I think this is the third time that they have done this, or at least the 3d time that I have seen this. Coastal Contacts is giving away 10,000 pair of free glasses. The only thing you have to pay for is shipping, which I believe is around $12, if I remember my last order.

They came VERY quickly, like a week, from when I ordered them. And they came in "perfect" timing...my son came to visit, and had wire glasses that had broken across the bridge of the nose...irreparable. As a joke, I handed him my glasses, since I was still wearing contacts, and said "here, try these on". Amazingly enough, the prescription worked for him, and saved him for 3 weeks, and is now his backup glasses.

So, at noon EST (9am PST), I would sign on...I think last time, it was very busy, and I didn't get to put in my order til around 9:30 or 9:45am. So I wouldn't wait til the last moment, but I wouldn't worry if you aren't one of the first 5 to enter, either.
